The case involved a breach of contract claim related to monies Porter claimed were owed to him from a $23 Billion tobacco verdict.

If the verdict in the tobacco case is upheld on appeal, Porter’s verdict will be worth $1,391,959,278.11

Judge Rules for Plaintiffs in Multi-Million Dollar Discrimination Lawsuit

Los Angeles – In what has been described as a major victory for prominent trial attorney Marwan Porter, Los Angeles United States District Court Judge Gary Allen Feess issued a ruling allowing his client’s multi-million dollar discrimination and conspiracy claims to proceed against the individual board members of the Los Angeles Community College District; one of the largest school districts in the country and others.

Marwin-PorterThe multi-million dollar lawsuit is being handled by Willie Gary, senior partner of Gary, Williams, Lewis and Watson, P.L. and Marwan Porter, managing partner of the Porter Law Firm, both based in Stuart, Florida, and co-counsel, James Leonard Brown of Los Angeles, California on behalf of Fu-Gen, Inc. The suit alleges that Fu-Gen, Inc., an African-American and female-owned research and investigation corporation, was racially discriminated against in connection with the award of a multi-million dollar contract to provide inspector general services. Furthermore, the lawsuit details the discrimination, conspiracy and the irreparable damages suffered by Fu-Gen as a result of the individual board members of the Los Angeles Community College District and others’ bad dealings and discriminatory conduct.
